White Water Rafting PADAS (Grade III-IV)

Padas River is situated in the interior of southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late 19th century in Borneo). Basically, this trip will give you two experiences advantages - 1) Excursion of Class III-IV river, 2) A uniquely ride in an antique train.


The adrenaline rush excursion covers a distance of 9km of this rather muddy 200 km river that holds 7 exciting and tough rapids!

These rapid carries amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid and Head Hunter Rapid. Each rapid will give you the feel of the motion as what the name means.


The push trolley ride

The journey will first take 1-½ hours overland through the countryside to Beaufort town. From thereupon, adventure begins with 1-½ hours train rides tracks along the Padas River that gives glimpses of the thrills and excitement to come. Upon arriving at the starting point, participant will be given safety briefing before going down the river.



0800 hrs

Pick up from hotel and transfer by coach to Tenom is a town located in interior division of Sabah, east Malaysia on the Island of Borneo. The town was formally called Fort Birch in the colonial period.


1145 hrs

Arrive at Tenom, get change and proceed to Pangie by "trolley" (square-shape plank with bearings). The thrilling yet scenic ride will take around 1 hour 30 minutes by "PUSH TROLLEY".

Your luggage will be stored at our vans and will be transferred to Beaufort Town.


1300 hrs

Upon reaching starting point, light refreshment will be served. Equipment will be provided to the guests; after gearing up, safety briefing will be given by professional river guide


1330 hrs

The 30km white water rafting, making it the longest rafting journey in Borneo begins. After the 9th kilometers of rafting which covers seven classes III-IV rapids, a quick stop for a sumptuous lunch at Rayoh Station before continuing the rafting journey down the majestic rainforest of Borneo. Ending point will be at Halogilat then Speed Boat Ride to Beaufort town.


1830 hrs

Estimated time of arrival at Beaufort town. Freshen up, get change and on board to the coach back to hotel


2030 hrs

Estimated time of arrival in Kota Kinabalu - END OF SERVICE
